Meet the members of Friends of Finn. Founded and chaired byAmanda Hearst, the Friends of Finn committee is named after Amanda’s dog Finn, a pet store pup who turned out to be from a puppy mill.

To change the game for victims like Finn, his mom, and Amanda, Friends of Finn is raising gifts and matching grants for an ongoing public education, awareness, and information program on why, how, and where to get non-puppy mill dogs. This next generation of leaders is committed to animal compassion and transformational change for years to come.

 

John Bartlett, an acclaimed fashion designer who launched his eponymous menswear collection in 1991, is also a longtime animal advocate and HSUS supporter.  

Fabiola Beracasa is an Elle magazine and Interview magazine contributer, an on-camera style personality, and the founder of SNAP-X, a charity that raises funds for animal welfare efforts.  

Georgina Bloomberg, a founding member of Friends of Finn, is a competitive show jumper and the co-author of two young adult novels about the equestrian show circuit, “The A Circuit” and “My Favorite Mistake.”  

Prince Lorenzo Borghese, best known for his appearance on ABC’s “The Bachelor,” is the founder and president of Royal Treatment Italian Pet Spa, a bath, body, and skin care line for pets.  

Katy Brodsky is the Executive Director of Reentry Services at the NYC Department of Corrections, where she works to reduce recidivism by targeting individual needs of inmates through contracted programs.  

Thomas Brodsky is a partner at his family real estate development firm, The Brodsky Organization. A dog owner since the age of five, Thomas is a strong advocate for animal rights.  

Annie Churchill, a founding member of Friends of Finn, is a native New Yorker and the proud owner of a Wheaten Terrier named Groucho. She works in the city as a fashion stylist and in real estate. 

Charles Ferri began his career in wealth management at Sanford C. Bernstein Investment Management and later went on to Deutsche Bank before leaving Wall Street to become an entrepreneur.  

Lauren Grafer is Director of Special Events for the Humane Society of the United States. She also works on the development of Friends of Finn.  

Henry Harper is the Co-Founder, Chairman and Director of Marketing & PR for Tata Harper Skincare, a 100% natural luxury beauty company based on the Harpers’ organic farm in Vermont.  

Amanda Hearst is the founder and chair of Friends of Finn. She is also a market editor at Marie Claire magazine and a blogger for the magazine’s website, where she writes about sustainable fashion and design.  

Ali Hoffman, a perpetual animal lover, is Web Editor at NYLON Magazine, where she writes about fashion, music, and film.  

Dr. Jennifer Jablow is known for creating the gorgeous grins of models and celebs as well as being the creator of IntelliWHiTE, the number one oral care line on Home Shopping Network.  

Michael Katz is the founder of interclick, an ad technology company which he took public in 2009 and subsequently sold to Yahoo! in 2011.  

Sabrina Kleier Morgenstern is Executive Vice President of Kleier Residential, one of two Manhattan real estate companies to headline HGTV’s runaway hit real estate reality TV show, “Selling New York.”

Dylan Lauren, known to many as the “Candy Queen,” is the founder and CEO of Dylan’s Candy Bar. As the daughter of legendary fashion icon Ralph Lauren and author Ricky Lauren, Dylan was immersed at an early age in design, art and fashion.  

Kimberly Ovitz is a lifelong animal lover and designer who launched her self-titled label in 2009 with a vision and desire to translate her inspiration of art, architecture, and nature into the world of women’s advanced contemporary fashion.  

Stephanie Riggio is a lifelong animal lover and proud “mom” to a stable of horses and an opinionated Papillon named Violet. A graduate of Columbia University and The New School, she is now an adjunct professor of English at St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn, New York.  

Breanna Schultz is a graduate student at Hunter College studying Animal Behavior and Conservation. She also has over six years of entertainment marketing experience.  

Andrew Schweibold is a partner at Delos Capital, a North American focused lower-middle market private equity fund.  

Katrina Szish, a TV personality and correspondent known for her expertise in pop culture and fashion, was most recently an entertainment contributor for ABC News’ summer hit Good Afternoon America.  

Wesley Wang is widely regarded as one of the pioneers in emerging markets and is also very interested in charity causes.  

Lauren Weinberg lived in London for several years, where she completed a Ph.D. in art history at the University of Cambridge, and has returned to her native New York City.
